Hi there, my name is Thomas Howarth and I currently study Physics MSci at UCL in London, UK; however I originate from the Lake District.

I have been interested in supercars all of my life and in 2014 decided to share my passion for ‘car spotting’ by starting ‘Horsepower Hunters’.

In less than 18 months I’ve had an unexpected and pleasing following, with over 140,000 followers on Instagram, and gaining several hundred new each day.

Most of my spotting takes place in central London where the newest and most amazing cars can be found; however I do also visit events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and more recently Top Marques in Monaco.

In the past I have been published in Top Gear magazine and my work is frequently reposted on popular car photography pages such as Supercars of London. Most recently I appeared on the Channel 4 documentary ‘Supercars’ with musician Example.

I use a Nikon D610 DSLR with 50mm F1.4 lens, SJ5000+ action camera, Canon R606 video camera and iPhone 6s Plus.

For all photo-shoots and enquirers, don’t hesitate to contact me:
